BOOKING & DEPOSIT

Bookings may be agreed by phone, or email and we must receive 25% deposit within 7 working days to confirm the booking. The balance is due eight weeks before your arrival. Payment can be made in either GB Pounds or Euros. You can post us a UK or Euro cheque or pay direct into our UK bank account or French euro account. Please make the cheque payable to: Mr & Mrs T Blow and send to the above address. Once we have received your deposit we will confirm your booking in writing.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

Please note that we require an excess deposit of 100GBP per week per property with your balance, which we return by post less any charges for excess cleaning or breakages sustained during your stay.

CLEANING excess cleaning charge

The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition, ensuring the disposal of all rubbish & recycling of bottles, all beds used to be stripped and the linen left for collection in the rooms - final cleaning is included in the price but anything beyond a normal light clean will incur an additional charge. ( 50GBP per cottage, 75GBP for The Manor ). Breakages should be notified at the end of your stay.

BED LINEN & TOWELS

All bed linen is provided, but you must bring your own towels (bathroom, swimming etc), and tea towels. Please note that we do not supply bathroom floor mats or oven gloves. Please note for cot hire, only a bottom cotton fitted sheet is provided, please provide your own baby bedding.

GUESTS

The cottages are let from 4pm on the day of arrival (usually Saturday to Saturday, but can vary by prior agreement) and guests must leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition by 10 am on the day of departure. Guests must not cause unreasonable nuisance to the owners or any other guests. No singing, shouting, loud music or partying after midnight. The use of the accommodation, equipment or any amenities on site including the swimming pool is entirely at the hirer's risk and no responsibility will be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the guests personally, their belongings, or vehicles. The owners are not insured for theft of their guests' belongings. The owners shall not be liable to the guests for any temporary or stoppage in the supply of services, nor in the respect of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the cottage or grounds; nor for any other matters beyond the reasonable control of the owners; nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the guest should the property be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period other than the amount previously paid by the hirer in respect of the rental period. Under no circumstances shall the owners liability to the hirer exceed the amount paid by the hirer to the owner for the rental period.

HEATING

Electric heating is included in the rental price from October to April inclusive, each property has its own heating supply and should heating be required in the summer months then an additional charge can be paid for this.

HOT WATER

Each property has its separate hot water supply which is normally enough for the amount of guests accommodated. Should more hot water be required then an additional charge will be made for heating the water during the day.

FIRE WOOD

Logs for wood burners fires are charged at 10euros per day, should you wish to use the log burners that are in some of the properties.

GAMES ROOM

Football field, Badminton and Volleyball There is a couple of Table-Tennis Tables, a Pool Table, and a Darts Board in the games room. We have provided basic equipment for these games apart from darts. All guests are welcome to use these games but at their own risk. Outside we provide football, volleyball and badminton nets, but rackets, shuttle cocks, balls must be purchased from the local shops or brought with you.

DVD'S

We have a vast collection and are supplied for all to view in the games room. Please ensure that all DVDs are returned to the games room before departure, do not leave any in the properties or video players.

GROUNDS and RIVER

Use all of our garden and grounds at you own risk. You can paddle in the river and we have a few Kayaks for you to use. For those of you who have fishing gear and wish to fish seriously within the permitted fishing months, you must first purchase a licence from the local village bar for the duration of your stay. You will find plenty of quiet spots along the riverbank.

SWIMMING POOL

The pool is open from 10.00am until 8.00pm daily, weather permitting. The pool opens normally from May to the end of September and is heated. Should the weather be hot enough, there is a possibility of opening it in April, 11.00am until 6.00pm daily but it will not be as warm as in the summer months.

CANCELLATIONS

Please be aware that once you have made a firm booking, you are contracting to pay the full cost of the rental. If you wish to cancel your holiday we will make every effort to re-let the cottage, in which case we will send you a full refund, less the cost of any specific advertising that is necessary. Please note the later the cancellation, the less likely we will be able to re-let. Guests are advised to take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy to include cancellation cover and full cover for the party's health, property, etc.
